What You'll Do
Join our growing Mining team in Newcastle and play a key role in delivering practical, high-quality mechanical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.
We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in pumps and piping systems to support the design and delivery of small to medium-scale mining and resources projects. This role sits within our established NSW mechanical team and offers exposure to multidisciplinary project environments.
* Design and analyse pumping systems and pipeline networks for mining and industrial applications
* Develop technical specifications, reports and design documentation
* Support project delivery across concept, design and execution phases
* Undertake hydraulic calculations and system modelling
* Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders, including contractors
* Contribute to maintenance strategies and operational improvements for plant and infrastructure
About You
* Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer
* Proven experience in pump and pipeline design within mining, water, or heavy industry
* Strong understanding of hydraulic design and system analysis
* Experience preparing technical documentation and specifications
* Exposure to project delivery and contractor coordination
* Proficient in relevant CAD tools and engineering analysis methods
* Practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills
