We’re looking for an Experienced Civil Supervisor to join our clients leadership team. You’ll take charge of supervising skilled site crews while ensuring health, safety, and environmental requirements are met at all times. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll coordinate daily site activities, maintain progress, and ensure delivery meets both quality and time expectations.
Your Role Will Include:
- Leading day-to-day civil construction operations to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to spec.
- Coordinating the work of employees, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep the site running smoothly.
- Conducting daily safety walks and checks to uphold regulatory compliance and promote a safe work environment.
- Tracking timelines, updating progress reports, and troubleshooting any issues that arise on-site.
- Maintaining accurate documentation – including daily reports, quality checklists, and delivery records.
- Working closely with the PM, client reps, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and milestone achievement.
- Ensuring all works align with contract requirements, drawings, and applicable standards.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within civil construction, ideally subdivisions or land development.
- Plant tickets and ability to operate them is desirable for this role.
- Deep knowledge of civil works such as bulk earthworks, drainage, road construction, and underground services.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and construction documents.
- Strong awareness and adherence to OH&S; and environmental protocols.
- Tech-savvy and confident using software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- Current valid Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to meet pre-employment medical requirements.
- Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
