With a reputation for quality and service, the business supports both trade and retail customers with expert advice, reliable products, and efficient service.BenefitsSalary $80,000 - $100,000 + Super (Based on experience)Progression opportunitiesOngoing training and development opportunitiesThe RoleThe Production/Workshop Supervisor – Driveline Workshop is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the driveline workshop, ensuring the timely and high-quality rebuild, repair, and testing of driveline components. This role will oversee a small team of 2 technicians, ensuring safety, productivity, quality standards, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.Supervise and coordinate all activities in the driveline workshop, ensuring jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Lead, mentor, and support a team of 2 driveline technicians, providing technical support, coaching, and performance management.Plan and prioritise workshop schedules in coordination with the sales and operations teams to meet customer deadlines.Manage workshop housekeeping and ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly.Conduct quality inspections and ensure all work meets the company's quality assurance standards before delivery.Report on workshop KPIs, including job turnaround times, rework rates, safety incidents, and staff performance.Skills & ExperienceProven experience in a supervisory or leading hand role within an automotive workshop, preferably in driveline, gearbox, or transmission rebuilding.Strong technical knowledge of driveline systems and related components.Excellent organisational and planning skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.For More InformationFor a brief, confidential discussion about this role or your next career move, please contact Khalid Belhaj via khalid@millerleith.com.au or on 0411 840 525.By engaging Miller Leith for recruitment services and/or career support, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Candidate Consent Form.
