About the RoleReporting to the Integration Director, the Data Migration Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and facilitating data migration activities to ensure a seamless transition to a current enterprise application. This role involves coordinating teams, managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring data integrity and compliance through effective stakeholder collaboration. Additionally, the position includes leading and developing a motivated team, supporting their professional growth, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive data migration plans, including strategy, scope, and approach.
- Oversee all aspects of data migration across the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve data migration issues, providing expert advice to mitigate risks and minimize business impact.
- Lead ELT/ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and alignment with target system requirements.
- Coordinate validation and reconciliation efforts with business users.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor progress, track milestones, and report on status and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Essential Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing large-scale data migration projects.
- High-level experience in ELT/ETL processes using a range of tools and techniques.
- Comprehensive experience with data modelling and database design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex data issues.
- Proven experience in team leadership and development.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
