Job Title:
A Quantum Network Physicist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experimental physicist to join our team in building a quantum network demonstrator, a key component of our mission to create scalable, high-performance networks. In this role, you will work at the intersection of atomic physics, cavity QED, and quantum engineering, collaborating closely with experts across electronics, optics, and mechanical design.
As a member of our AMO physics team, you will play a crucial role in integrating our proprietary qubit-photon interface and cavity microtechnology, helping us push towards state-of-the-art networking rates and fidelities.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with experience in experimental AMO physics, preferably in ion trapping or a related discipline. You should have a strong understanding of qubit control, atomic physics, atom-phonon interactions, gate optimization, or benchmarking.
Experience working with optical, electronic, and UHV systems is essential, as well as knowledge of laser locking, system automation, or real-time control (e.g., ARTIQ).
Benefits:
At our organization, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where people from all backgrounds can thrive. We offer flexible working options, generous employee referral schemes, private medical and dental coverage, and more.
Join our team and contribute to shaping the future of technology in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
