Office Manager – Join a Young & Growing Team
Metric Power is a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) electrical company operating on the Ausgrid network, specialising in both B2B and B2C Level 2 electrical works.
We're a young, motivated, and fast‐growing team delivering premium, compliant electrical solutions across the Ausgrid network. As our Level 2 workload continues to grow, we're seeking a highly organised, detail‐driven Office Manager with a creative edge to run the office, manage compliance, and support our field and projects team.
The Role
You'll be theengine room of Metric Power, responsible for office operations, job coordination,Level 2 compliance and Ausgrid service order applications, while also contributing to ourmarketing and social media presence.
This role suits someone with electrical or trade administration experience who enjoys structureandcreativity.
What You'll Be Doing
* Manage daily office operations, systems, and workflows
* Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and client communications
* Dispatch and schedule Level 2, service, and project works
* Manage compliance for Level 2 ASP works, including:
* Network permission tracking
* Job references, notifications, and documentation
* Liaise with Ausgrid, metering providers, builders, and private clients
* Order materials and liaise with suppliers and wholesalers
* Assist with quoting, variations, follow-ups, and client approvals
* Review upcoming jobs to ensure correct scope, scheduling, and materials
* Manage and contribute to Metric Power's social media presence, including:
* Planning and scheduling posts
* Organising photos/videos from site
* Coordinating basic content and marketing activity when required
* Identify and implement process improvements across admin, compliance, and marketing
* Support team culture and contribute to a positive, professional workplace
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in office administration or coordination
* (electrical or trade industry experience highly regarded)
* Confidence managing schedules, suppliers, and job management systems
* (SimPRO, Tradify, ServiceM8 or similar preferred but not essential)
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Clear, professional communication skills
* Creative mindset with interest in social media, content, and marketing
* Tech-savvy, adaptable, and comfortable learning new systems
* Reliable, proactive, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
