What Will You Do?

* Lead repairs & maintenance projects, down days, and short shutdowns; including multi‐trade discipline works for equipment improvement projects.
* Provide engineering oversight for complex issues, upgrades, and investigations to inform investment decisions regarding asset condition and technical risks.
* Coach and mentor maintenance personnel, promoting a Defect Elimination mindset and providing mentoring and knowledge transfer to support technical growth within the maintenance team.
* Develop and review strategies to ensure maintenance practices are effective and aligned to operational requirements.
* Plan and monitor the R&M budget for your area, including forecasting, tracking and performance monitoring.

More About You

* A mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical engineering degree, or be a well‐versed technical maintenance coordinator with a diploma of mechanical engineering.
* A sound understanding of maintenance budgeting and cost control.
* Experience and expertise with industrial mechanical equipment such as hydraulics, rotating equipment, lubrication and condition monitoring will be highly regarded.
* The ability to lead reliability and defect elimination initiatives using tools like RCM, RCA, Lean, and Kepner‐Tregoe (KT).
* Extensive experience in maintenance planning, execution, and reliability improvement, preferably within a heavy industry.
* A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others.
