Help Desk Support – Major distribution company
We are seeking a motivated Help Desk Support professional to provide Level 1 IT support, troubleshooting, and operational assistance in a Microsoft environment. This 6‐week contract opportunity is for someone with foundational IT experience to grow skills while contributing to a team on a rotating shift roster, 100% onsite.
Rate: $35–$42 per hour including super.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide basic IT helpdesk support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
* Support and maintain cabling organization to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
* Assist with stock control, inventory counts, and audit support activities.
* Document issues, solutions, and support activities accurately for future reference.
* Work collaboratively with the team to support day‐to‐day IT operations in a Microsoft environment.
Key Requirements
* At least 6–12+ months of experience in a Level 1 IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or similar support role.
* Solid Level 1 IT support and troubleshooting skills.
* Must be able to start immediately.
* Must be fully available to work rotating day, night, and weekend shifts for the entire contract duration and be 100% onsite.
* Strong communication and customer service skills with a proactive, can‐do attitude.
* Must reside within 20–30‐minute proximity to the Ravenhall‐Deer Park area, VIC and have reliable personal transport.
* IT‐related qualification (degree or currently studying) is a plus.
