These awards are available at person-centred care to individuals experiencing mental illness in the community.Coordinate care for consumers of the Acute Care Community Team as a key worker.Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, recovery-oriented care.Work in partnership with service users, carers and families to ensure holistic, least-restrictive, culturally safe care is provided.Undertake triage, mental health assessments, care planning and safety planning.Administer long-acting depot injections in the Depot Clinic and provide relief cover in the Clozapine Clinic.Practice and promote safe, productive, and effective nursing care in accordance with national practice standards, local health district policies and procedures.Be prepared to work across all components of the mental health service, including inpatient and community-based services.Qualifications and RequirementsRegistered Nurse with a valid authority to work in Australia.
Experience in mental health nursing is preferred but not required.
