Your Role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Support Worker to join our team based in Wickham. This unique role combines client support and property management responsibilities, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people accessing our accommodation services. Working closely with Case Workers, you will help create a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for clients while supporting the delivery of individual support plans. You will play an important role in promoting client wellbeing, maintaining accommodation standards and ensuring day-to-day property operations run smoothly. Occasional travel to our Swansea service may be required.

Your Responsibility

* Prepare and maintain client rooms, including cleaning, laundry and room set-up
* Monitor accommodation standards and ensure communal areas remain safe and welcoming
* Act as the first point of contact for maintenance requests and property-related issues
* Coordinate and follow up property maintenance and repairs
* Assist with tenancy management and property compliance processes
* Provide practical day-to-day support to clients within the service
* Build positive and respectful relationships with clients, supporting a safe and inclusive environment
* Work collaboratively with Case Workers and other team members to support client outcomes

You Will Need

* Experience in property management, accommodation services, community housing or a similar environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A respectful, non-judgemental approach and genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable people
* A current First Aid Certificate
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
* A current driver's licence
