Our client, located in the north-eastern suburbs, is a leading Australian engineering company specialising in advanced motion technology and precision manufacturing. With a reputation for innovation, reliability, and excellence, they support industries across defence, automotive, and industrial sectors.
What's in it for you:
* Monday to Thursday 6 am-2:40 pm. Friday 6 am-12:10 pm
* From $48-52 per hour based on experience
* Temp-to-perm opportunities for reliable and high-performing candidates
* Ongoing, stable work with consistent hours – Monday to Friday required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Operating, setting up, and/or programming CNC machines, including:
o 3-5 Axis Machines
o OKUMA, HAAS & MAZAK machines.
* Using Mastercam 2024 for programming and toolpath optimisation
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Conducting quality checks and maintaining accuracy within tight tolerances
* Following all safety policies and procedures
Who we are looking for:
* Experience in CNC operation, setup, and/or programming
* Exposure to steel machining or precision components manufacturing
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Willingness to work across Day, Afternoon, or Night shifts
* Positive, safety-focused attitude and team spirit
