About The Role
This is a rewarding and meaningful role for an energetic individual with experience in the mental health field. Working within the Organisational Wellbeing Team, you will be involved in supporting senior leaders and members' psychological health and wellbeing with a strong focus on the provision of expert mental health management advice and prevention strategies. This position works across various locations including Kangaroo Flat, Swan Hill and Kerang. You will be located at the Kangaroo Flat district office. You must be prepared for remote work, overnight stays and after‐hours work at times. A CFA vehicle will be provided to the successful applicant and a 5% availability allowance for all on‐call roster duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders to manage a range of wellbeing and mental health issues
* Assessment, referral and short‐term support for volunteers and staff in relation to their mental health and wellbeing
* Deliver face‐to‐face and virtual training and education
* Develop and deliver a range of proactive strategies and services aimed at improving organisational and member mental health and wellbeing
* Build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation to achieve outcomes
About You
To succeed in this important role, you will be qualified in a mental health or Social Sciences related discipline with significant contemporary experience managing wellbeing and mental health issues. You are a team player who contributes positively to team culture. You will demonstrate expertise in providing support, advice, coaching and problem solving on a broad range of mental health and wellbeing issues.
With expertise in communicating at all levels of an organisation, you will also develop and deliver a range of proactive strategies and services aimed at improving organisational and member mental health and wellbeing. This includes your ability to deliver face‐to‐face and virtual educational and training programs.
