Senior Manager - Treasury Financial Control
The Treasury Financial Control team sits within the broader Finance division, working closely with Group Treasury, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Risk Management. Our work is critical to minimising earnings volatility, meeting regulatory requirements, and supporting Macquarie's reputation for financial integrity.

What role will you play?
In this role you will lead and oversee financial control activities across hedging processes, with a primary focus on accounting, reconciliations and reporting outcomes. You will support how we economically hedge exposures, operate core hedge accounting systems, and ensure transactions are reflected accurately in financial statements. You will also contribute technical accounting guidance, support policy and compliance requirements, and provide transaction-based information to support tax reporting.
Required Qualifications
* CA Qualified with 8+ years of experience ideally in audit, financial control or financial reporting within a Big Four Accountancy Firm
* Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in supporting delivery of initiatives which benefit our Group
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and focus on the key risks and issues and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and adapts messaging to diverse audiences
* Ability to manage competing priorities, transactions and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
* Prior experience in the application of IFRS or accounting standards to complex situations and structures in an advisory, commercial or financial reporting capacity is valuable.
