The Footwear QC Executive is responsible for ensuring that all footwear products meet brand quality standards and industry norms. The role involves quality inspection at factory and warehouse levels, identifying defects, coordinating corrective actions, and ensuring smooth production and supply without quality compromise.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished footwear as per approved samples and specifications.
* Conduct in-line, final, and warehouse inspections (AQL / 100% inspection as applicable).
* Identify workmanship, material, and finishing defects and take corrective action.
* Coordinate with factory QC, production, and warehouse teams to resolve quality issues.
* Support factory and warehouse visits to prevent recurring defects.
* Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and pair matching before dispatch.
* Maintain inspection reports and share quality status with internal teams.
* Ensure adherence to brand quality standards and footwear industry best practices.
* Strong knowledge of footwear construction and materials (Leather, PU, PVC, EVA, Rubber).
* Good defect identification and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of quality systems and inspection standards.
* Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
* Basic documentation and reporting skills
Qualification & Experience
* Diploma / Graduate (Footwear Technology, Fashion, or related field preferred).
* 2–6 years experience in Footwear QC (Factory / Warehouse).
* Experience working with brands or organized retail is an advantage.

* First-time quality approval rate
* Reduction in rejections and rework
* Timely resolution of quality issues
* Consistence between approved samples and bulk production.
