About the Role
As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll support the Operations Team to keep our centres safe, compliant, and looking their best. You’ll manage budgets, maintain documentation, and build strong relationships with tenants and contractors, all while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative
- Coordinate daily facility operations, including cleaning, security, and maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance reports.
Facilities Oversight
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with responding to emergency maintenance issues and manage business continuity plans.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
Planning & Projects
- Assist with planning and execution of facility related projects and tasks.
Budget & Reporting
- Assist with facility related budgets and track expenditures for cost effectiveness.
- Prepare reports on maintenance, safety, and operational performance as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in administration or operations support.
- Knowledge of Australian standards and centre operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service focus.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
- Comfortable with occasional physical demands of an onsite role.
