About the Role
MSS Security is seeking casual retail Security Officers to represent our brand at Stockland, Rockhampton. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and property. If you're driven, reliable, and thrive in fast‑paced environments, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols and on‑site inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Deliver a robust, visible deterrent against theft and antisocial behaviour.
- Respond rapidly and professionally to security incidents and escalate when needed.
- Collaborate confidently with team members and site personnel.
- Maintain accurate reports, logs, and complete basic digital documentation.
Requirements
- Current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed, Monitoring, Crowd Control).
- Certificate II or above in Security Operations.
- Full QLD Driver’s Licence (No restrictions).
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications (Willing to obtain).
- Experience in retail or customer‑facing roles (Highly Desirable).
