Healthy North Coast is an independent not‑for‑profit and one of Australia’s 31 Primary Health Networks, funded by the Australian Government to coordinate, commission and strengthen primary health and mental health care across the North Coast region.
Guided by its Strategic Plan 2023–2030, the organisation manages a portfolio of approximately $89 million, investing in prevention, mental health, healthy ageing, Aboriginal health partnerships, digital innovation and workforce sustainability.
About the Position
Multiple Non‑Executive Director vacancies on a nine‑member Board overseeing strategy, sustainability and community impact. Directors serve a three‑year term (renewable for up to two further terms) and contribute via the Finance & Performance, Audit & Risk or Nominations & Governance Committees, and/or Board Advisory Councils (Clinical and Community).
The Board meets at least six times annually plus strategic and professional development days. We are particularly seeking capability in technology, AI and cyber security; business development and partnerships; legal and governance; and financial leadership and risk.
About the Person
You bring prior board, executive or senior leadership experience in complex organisations, with strong strategic thinking, sound governance judgement and the confidence to challenge and support executive leadership constructively.
You share a genuine commitment to health equity and outcomes for North Coast communities. Diverse backgrounds and lived experience are welcomed; candidates based in the NSW North Coast region are particularly encouraged to apply.
