Total Asphalt is the leading local provider of asphalt, committed to delivering high-quality services across the Goldfields. We are seeking a qualified and motivated truck driver to join our transport team and support our growing operations.
Position: HR/MC Truck Driver
Location: Kalgoorlie-Boulder WA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities
* Timely, safe and efficient delivery of asphalt to the road crew.
* Perform deliveries to nearby towns as and when required.
* Maintain the truck and trailers in neat, tidy, and clean condition at all times.
* Complete daily pre-start checks on machines and attend daily Pre-Start Information (PSI) meetings.
* Keep accurate records and report issues promptly and assist with actions.
* Perform other duties as instructed.
Qualifications
* Minimum valid unencumbered HR License.
* Candidates holding a valid MC (Multi-Combination) Driver's License are also encouraged to apply.
Must Have's
* Minimum 2 years of experience driving 6-wheel tippers or similar.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and report maintenance issues.
* Experience towing live floor trailers, semi's and floats and having experience with equipment moves using a float and possessing the appropriate license category also viewed favourably.
* Physically fit and able to assist with general maintenance tasks.
