The Role
This hands‐on operational safety role will partner closely with site leadership to drive engagement, strengthen safety culture, and support ongoing safety improvement initiatives across a complex manufacturing environment. The role will suit someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, building relationships, and influencing positive safety behaviours across all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with operational leaders to support day‐to‐day safety activities across site
* Lead and support investigations, risk assessments, audits, and critical risk reviews
* Drive engagement and continuous improvement across site safety initiatives and committees
* Support regulatory compliance, contractor management, and operational governance activities
* Maintain strong floor presence while coaching and influencing teams across the operation
Skills & Experience
* Proven safety experience within manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, or high‐risk operational environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building capability
* Hands‐on and visible leadership style with the ability to influence without direct authority
* Experience across high‐risk environments including manual handling, chemicals, plant safety, confined space, and contractor management
* Cert IV or Diploma in WHS highly regarded alongside ICAM or incident investigation exposure
