Disability Support Workers

Phoenix Lifestyle Support Association are looking for two female support workers who are passionate about working with people with disabilities. They must be person-centered, reliable and have excellent communication skills. The successful candidates must be available to work nights, days and weekends.
These roles are true casual positions, and staff will be trained to work across a number of SIL houses.
Phoenix Lifestyle Support Association Inc. is a not-for-profit disability support service provider with our main office in Redland Bay, QLD. We are a small organisation that provides both community participation and supported independent living for intellectually and physically challenged individuals.
Duties
* Support workers are required to help the participants live as independently as possible by assisting with activities of daily living including personal care needs, assistance with medication, preparation of meals and household tasks.
* Support workers should be comfortable supporting people with catheters and epilepsy.
* Assisting access to the community is part of the support workers duties.
Requirements
* Current disability worker screening clearance card.
* Australian or NZ citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia.
* Current First Aid certificate and current CPR
* Open Drivers licence with own vehicle
* Cert III in Disability or relevant experience
* Smart mobile phone
* Must be available to work nights/weekends/days.
