We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux and Unix Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux and Unix-based systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and support Linux and Unix-based systems, ensuring high uptime and performance
* Design and implement new systems and technologies to improve efficiency and scalability
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices
* Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base for system operations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or related field
* Proven experience in Linux and Unix system administration (RedHat, Debian, Solaris)
* Experience with TELCO/ISP applications (Web, Mail, DNS, RADIUS, DHCP, LDAP)
* Knowledge of virtualisation, containerisation, storage, load balancing, and high availability
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Effective technical analysis and troubleshooting skills
