Sommerville Legal is a supportive Bunbury law firm practising in family law, estate planning and estate litigation. We are seeking a calm, organised and professional Administration Assistant / Receptionist to support the smooth day-to-day running of our office.

This part-time role is ideal for someone confident in client communication, administration and document preparation.

Free onsite covered parking is included.

Key Skills and Experience

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Intermediate level proficiency required in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A calm, professional manner with clients, including those under stress
* High attention to detail in document formatting and administration
* Minimum 1 year experience in administration or reception; professional services experience preferred

Responsibilities

* Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion
* Provide professional front-of-house and phone support to clients
* Support office administration, scheduling and file management
* Manage appointments, calendars and general office administration
* Greet clients and handle phone enquiries professionallyPrepare and format documents accurately, with strong attention to detail
* Assist with filing, data entry, invoices and accounts enquiries
* Manage physical files and safe custody documents

Working Hours

20 to 30 hours per week. The hours are flexible for this role, as negotiated. You may work school hours or compress the hours into full days. There is also the potential for increased hours. The successful applicant may commence work on or before 1 July 2026.
