Job Overview

As an Industry Principal in the Oil & Gas industry, your primary focus will be to create demand for the products and services of AVEVA in your assigned industry group thanks to your industry domain expertise, supporting sales with industry value proposition, and thought leadership. Your main objective will be to act as a pathfinder for our customers and enable the AVEVA salesforce to deliver high customer satisfaction with global consistency.

Key Responsibilities

* Increase AVEVA's penetration and market share within the industry value chain.
* Build a strong ecosystem with executive level relationships throughout the customer base and partnerships.
* Support specific and numerous sales opportunities with industry specific information and expertise.
* Understand the business drivers, strategic trends and competitive threats and influences in this industry and deliver our response as required to increase the value proposition.
* Support sales enablement and capability for each region.
* Create value proposition, emerging use cases and collateral for our products, and solution.
* Develop and sustain industry marketing collateral that support sales enablement and marketing initiatives.
* Act as brand ambassador and lead industry events and campaigns.
* Participate as part of a virtual team in support of strategic industry sales and region strategy.
* Build working relationships with a variety of individuals, teams and organizations within and outside of AVEVA.

Experience & Qualification

* Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. STEM degree highly desired.
* Minimum of 10+ years of direct experience working in Oil & Gas Industry, with specific experience supporting operations and/or engineering at some level in two or more of these industries/areas.
* High level of business acumen; professional written and oral communication skills; proven ability to delivery executive-level value statements; excellent presentation skills.
* Visionary, you are a change agent in your organization and a technology early adopter in your industry.
* Proven track record of success in consultative selling at the C level.
* Proven track record of Business Development in an industry vertical.
* Background in software sales highly desired.
* Domestic and international travel - approximately 40% - 60%.
* This position could be based in APAC working from home or at an AVEVA office. While it does say a location, that does not limit it to that location.

Hybrid working

By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office‐based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.

Background Checks
