WhatYou'llBe Accountable For
* Setting and delivering the Business Unit strategy-Develop,implementand champion a clear BU strategy, ensuring strong engagement across internal teams and trade partners.
* Driving sales,marginand inventory performance-Own sales, GP, stock and GMROI outcomes through effective pricing, promotional strategies, ranging decisions and supplier negotiations.
* Leadingend‐to‐endrange management -Oversee category planning, rangereviewsand new product development, ensuring delivery from concept through toinstoreexecution.
* Owning promotional excellence-Lead promotional planning, fundingnegotiationsand execution, partnering closely with Marketing and eCommerce to ensureaccurate, compelling customer offers across all channels.
* Build and lead a highperforming team-Develop talent through coaching, successionplanningand performance leadership, fostering a diverse, engaged andcustomer‐centricculture.
WhatWe'reLooking For
* 10+ years' experience as a Buyer, Category Manager or equivalent, ideally in fast moving, hardgoods products.
* A strong passion for buying product is a must - a passion for automotive is advantageous.
* Leadership capabilities that energize and empower your merchandise team's vision.
* Strong ability to develop BU strategies that translate into tangible commercial outcomes in a fast-paced retail environment.
* A track recordof building mutually beneficial trade partner relationships and influencing senior internal stakeholders.
* Fosters innovation, alert to emerging opportunities and builds a culture of learning from wins and setbacks.
* Comfortable navigating complexity,supporting calculated risks and driving continuous improvement.
