We're looking for a Legal counsel with 4+ years of post-qualification experience to join a high‑performing legal team advising on significant commercial and regulatory matters that shape how business interacts with competition, consumer, and privacy laws in Australia.
What You'll Do
* Advise on regulatory frameworks with a strong focus on competition and consumer law.
* Support major commercial transactions and strategic projects with legal analysis and risk mitigation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver commercially sound legal solutions.
* Navigate complex legal and compliance challenges with a strategic lens.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in legal service delivery.
What You'll Bring
* A Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent) and admission to practise in Australia.
* Minimum of 4 years' post‑qualification experience.
* Demonstrated experience in competition law, consumer law, or regulatory advisory.
* Ability to distil complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non‑legal stakeholders.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Commercial acumen, with the ability to balance risk and business objectives.
* Organised, agile and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
