About the Role
We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our high-performing team on a full-time basis (Rotating Shift), based in Shepparton. Successful applicants will be trade qualified and have previous trade experience with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to food and workplace safety. You will be joining a hardworking team that is committed to the continual growth of the business, which services the manufacturing industry.

What your days look like
* Responding to mechanical breakdowns and carrying out repairs to keep production running smoothly
* Performing planned preventative and condition-based maintenance on high-speed food manufacturing equipment
* Fabricating and repairing parts using machining and welding where required
* Working safely with high-risk equipment and actively participating in safety and quality initiatives
* Managing parts, tools and maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
The Ingredients for Success
* Strong mechanical background with hands on experience
* Trade qualification in a mechanical field
* Experience in pneumatics, welding and machining is advantageous
* Previous experience with SAP or CMMS is highly regarded
* FMCG experience
* Experienced in analysing equipment condition & identifying maintenance requirements.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Willingness to work a rotating roster- day, afternoon and night shifts to meet production requirements
* Sound knowledge of OHSE & Quality systems.
* EWP, Confined Space and Forklift Licences are highly desirable
