Total Rewards & People Reporting Lead

Overview This role supports the governance and continuous improvement of Lactalis Australia’s total rewards framework, encompassing compensation, perks, recognition, mobility, and people data insights. It ensures the design, development, maintenance and administration of these programmes, policies, processes and systems are compliant and meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
Oversee the governance and quality assurance of people and compensation data with SuccessFactors and integrated systems, including hands‑on configuration, data integrity and system administration.
Partner with payroll to align master data, pay structures and reporting hierarchies, ensuring consistency across systems.
Support the delivery and ongoing development of Lactalis’ salary, incentive and job evaluation processes, ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity and compliance.
Coordinate the annual salary review cycle including system readiness, budget control, data validation and analytics.
Conduct benchmarking of programmes and maintain vendor relationships to ensure a cost‑effective, value‑add benefit offering.
Support the People Experience team in reviewing and governing total rewards related policies and frameworks.
Manage submissions of cyclical reporting such as Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) submissions, pay equity reviews and market benchmarking submissions.
Lead the delivery of accurate and timely monthly people metric reporting and analysis and support projects to optimise data collection and reporting.
Partner with the HR and payroll team to ensure reporting definitions, data lineage and KPIs are consistent and validated.
Administer and monitor expatriate and international assignment arrangements in alignment with Lactalis Group policies.
Maintain oversight of global mobility cost tracking and benefit alignment.
Keep up‑to‑date awareness of industrial frameworks, taxation and superannuation impacting pay and benefits.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics or related field (or equivalent industry experience) and 4‑6 years of experience in HR, compensation, rewards, benefits or people/workforce analytics.
Strong knowledge of remuneration frameworks and compliance, including Modern Awards, market benchmarking and job evaluations; proven ability to manage remuneration data accurately while delivering insightful analytics.
Experience in total rewards, including annual salary reviews, variable remuneration plans, benchmarking, job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Hay, Mercer) and salary surveys.
Advanced Excel and HRIS reporting skills essential; experience in SuccessFactors highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, high numeracy and data analytics capability, and strong attention to detail.
Accountable, motivated self‑starter adept at problem‑solving and project management.
