We’re looking for a practical, people-focused Operations Manager to run the branch day-to-day. This role suits someone who understands heavy equipment, enjoys leading a tight-knit team, and thrives on building client relationships. You’ll balance workshop activity, fleet coordination, and rental operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong customer relationships and be the go-to contact for local rental needs
- Oversee bookings, fleet allocation, and equipment readiness
- Lead and support a small operations/workshop team
- Coordinate servicing, repairs, transport, and suppliers
- Maintain safety, compliance, and clean operating standards
- Manage invoicing, purchase orders, and admin accuracy
- Monitor utilisation, performance, and branch activity reporting
What You Bring:
- Experience in operations, rentals, logistics, or service delivery
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Mechanical understanding of heavy equipment (essential)
- Confident scheduling, problem-solving, and prioritising workloads
- Safety mindset, attention to detail, and practical decision-making
- Comfortable working with systems, CRM, and Microsoft Office
