About the opportunity
Step into an exciting role at ELMO as a Business Development Manager, where you'll drive success within the vibrant Mid Market segment. You will champion ELMO's HR & Payroll solutions, report directly to the Regional Sales Director, and own new business opportunities in the Mid Market arena. This is your chance to offer strategic solutions and become a trusted partner to growing businesses.
Your Focus
* Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to generate value and achieve sales targets within the Mid Market.
* Opportunity Identification: Pinpoint key opportunities for value creation in the mid-market segment.
* End-to-End Sales Management: Manage the complete sales process, from identifying prospects to closing deals.
* Effective Communication: Use diverse presentation styles and prioritize opportunities for impact.
* Value Optimization: Maximize the contract value of all opportunities.
* ELMO Advocate: Clearly articulate the benefits of ELMO's solutions.
* Team Collaboration: Work with Sales and Marketing to support strategic initiatives.
* Solution Enhancement: Provide feedback to improve ELMO's offerings.
* Client Engagement: Engage in strategic consultations with key client stakeholders.
* Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
Your Success Will Be Measured By
* Sourcing and securing new business to fuel growth for ELMO.
* Consistently achieving targets through compelling sales presentations.
* Preparing accurate and policy-compliant estimates and tenders.
* Active participation in relevant sales and marketing events.
* Meticulously managing and recording all activities within Salesforce.
Desired Skills and Experience
* A proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in B2B software sales.
* Solid expertise in technology sales, with strong preference for HR/Payroll sector experience (minimum 5 years).
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that build rapport and trust.
* Highly driven, self-starter mentality with strong prospecting skills.
* Strong understanding of the software/technology sales cycle and its nuances.
* Familiarity with information security and data integrity standards.
