Job Opportunity: Self Employment Assistant

The Self Employment Assistance (SEA) program is seeking a skilled consultant to deliver a comprehensive training and mentoring program to support participants in achieving their business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

* Implement effective marketing strategies to engage potential participants and promote the program's objectives.
* Consult and assess applicants to determine suitability for the SEA program, ensuring alignment with government standards and accreditation requirements.
* Assist participants in developing a detailed business plan that meets government and industry standards, providing personalized coaching and guidance throughout the process.
* Provide ongoing support and motivation to participants, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve success in their entrepreneurial ventures.
* Monitor the financial viability of businesses and implement action plans as needed to ensure long-term sustainability.
* Complete all relevant documentation and administration tasks, maintaining accurate records and tracking progress in our IT systems.
* Facilitate the program in accordance with established standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
* A MyGovID (Standard level).
* Willingness to complete a National Police Check.
* Ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
* Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.


Essential Skills:

* Exposure and understanding of small business management principles.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong connections with stakeholders.
* Highly motivated and able to work autonomously, yet as part of a professional team.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Email, as well as experience with online Learning Management Systems.
* Proven track record of achieving results and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
