The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Senior Registrar (Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Fellow) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willAssist in the supervision, training, and mentoring of registrars and residents.Participate in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) surgical planning meeting.Maintain high standards of professional practice, ethics, and continuous youTo be successful in this position you will require:Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent recognised qualification registrable with the Medical Board of AustraliaAHPRA RegistrationAdvanced Trainee (RANZCOG Level 5 or 6) minimumEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)BenefitsFlexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loadingSalaryTemporary part time (up to 12 months with possibility of extension, 64 hours per fortnight)Base salary ranging from $6 519 - $7 163 per fortnightAbout UsThe Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) tertiary level Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit offers a full range of women's services and services the entire Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales area.
