About us
Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined engineering company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Systems Engineering team implements automation and critical control and monitoring systems for manufacturing, data centre, and other commercial and industrial customers. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our Electrical Team based in Western Sydney.
You will lead a team of electricians and apprentices with exposure to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including but not limited to
* Commercial and Industrial installations
* Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Industrial Control Systems including: PLCs
* Motor Controls.
* Robotics
* Providing service and support for our industrial and commercial customers.
Eligibility and selection criteria
* Relevant trade qualification
* Relevant Supervisory experience
* Leadership and Management skills
* A current NSW Driving Licence
* Current WHS white card
* Able to interpret electrical and controls schematics
* Goodknowledge of AS3000 and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical work and a firm commitment to safe work practices
* Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
* Ability to adapt to a constant changing work environment and scheduling
* Takes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standards
* Willingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesman.
* Ability to provide budgets and estimates to clients for installations, interval servicing and shutdown works.
* Skills in managing and monitoring project timelines, budgets and quality metrics to achieve expected outcomes.Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the business and client standards and expectations are met.
* Produce Bill of Materials based on system specification and requirements.
* Assist procurement team with material orders to ensure suitability and availability of materials for projects.

* HRW Forklift Licence
* Confined Space
* Emergency First Aid / CPR
* Working at Heights
* Low Voltage Release and Rescue
* Industrial / PLC experience
This is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
Rate will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
