Manage End-to-End Procurement Activities Competitive Salary with Stability Permanent Full-Time Position Based in Regional Southeast Queensland We are partnered with a regional, Local Government based in Southeast Queensland as they seek an experienced Procurement Advisor to join their team.Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator, the key responsibilities of this role will include: Acting as the first point of contact for suppliers/ contractors; Providing focused procurement support to ensure that the organisation's needs are met; Managing the tender process from preparation through to contract negotiations; Coordinating and reporting on procurement activities including stakeholder management and end-to-end procurement administration; Leading the development and implementation of procurement plans; Providing advice and guidance on all procurement matters including contract management advice to ensure compliance with legislation and processes; and Maintaining all records for the procurement processes and reporting
on measures to assist with the organisation's overall procurement activities. To be successful in this role, you will have:
A tertiary degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or significant Procurement and Contracts experience; Knowledge of TechOne, Vendor Panel and Local Buy; Confidence and experience in contract negotiations and resolving disputes; The ability to work and build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors as well as departmental managers; and Effective organisational and time management skills.
