Job Description
The Client Services Partner (CSP) role is positioned within the IFS Global Services Presales function. This role serves as a key partner to our sales team and customers, supporting the sales team in packing, positioning and integrating services to an opportunity. The IFS services portfolio includes customer success, implementation and consulting delivery, cloud managed services, and support & maintenance. While the sales lead owns the overall customer relationship and enduring commercial responsibility, the CSP provides critical services presales guidance and advice.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with sales and delivery teams to establish and shape desired customer outcomes and design executable offerings that deliver value across the customer lifecycle.
* Shape how the portfolio of service offerings is positioned and sold to customers.
* Lead the sales process from opportunity shaping to deal closure, influencing outcomes internally and externally.
* Facilitate customer requirements discovery workshops.
* Pitch services aligned with customer objectives and qualify deals.
* Set the services sales strategy and ensure proposals follow best practices and standards while minimizing risk to both the customer and IFS.
* Drive the services content of bids, underpinning documentation, contracts, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
QualificationsEssential
* 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing and/or pre‐sales role in customer success, professional services, management consultancy, or project management; experience with customers undergoing transformation or digitalisation.
* Proficiency in English.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
* Strategic planning skills.
* Thrives in a deadline‐driven environment, working across multiple functions and geographical locations.
* Willingness to travel throughout the region as required.
* Competency in using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and Gen AI for data analysis, reporting, and presentation purposes.
Desirable
* University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in a field relevant to the functional area or responsibility.
* Experience with ERP, FSM or EAM applications.
* Experience working with agile development methodology.
* Industry knowledge in one of IFS's six core industries.
* Proven experience in sales methodologies such as SPIN, MEDDIC, etc.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience with participating in or managing software implementation projects.
* Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Excel, Excel Macros (VBA), MS Project, SharePoint.
* Good business aptitude and quick learning ability.
* Strong problem‐solving and analysis skills.
* Financial analysis and accounting knowledge.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to focus on detail, consistency and quality in written communications and presentations.
