THE ROLE
Ora Banda Mining will be welcoming a Senior Supply Officer to the team. The role will be based at the Davyhurst Gold Mine in the eastern goldfields. The 8/6 roster is available FIFO from Perth or BIBO from Kalgoorlie.
* Responsible for efficient, well planned and cost effective warehousing, inventory management and distribution of goods and services.
* Work proactively with the site end users to provide cost effective and efficient services in a timely manner providing consistent feedback.
* Key point of contact for all day to day operations of the site supply chain.
* Liaise with freight provider to ensure all items are being delivered and all issues regarding freight rectified in a timely manner.
* Expedite all overdue stock purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
* Ensure inwards and outwards freight complies with Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
* Ensure personnel are adequately trained and qualified in relevant operating procedures.
* Maintain inventory levels in accordance with approved minimum and maximum stock levels; review inventory with user demand planning and amend levels as per company approval process.
* Ensure cyclic stock counts are completed daily.
* Liaise with end users to ensure critical spares are identified, preserved and readily available when required.
* Ensure rotables are managed as per site and warehouse requirements.
* Manage daily reagent and fuel stock takes and reconcile physical stock with Pronto ERP system.
* Collaborate with the Supply Superintendent and Commercial Manager to maintain agreements with preferred vendors and suppliers.
* Attend designated shutdown planning meetings and action inventory and purchasing requirements to meet scope of works for planned shutdowns.
* Assist the Superintendent with cataloguing and inventory management processes.
* Maintain and process on Pronto ERP system the agreed stock taking plan; investigate discrepancies and action in accordance with SCM standards and policies.
* Quality daily, weekly and monthly reporting of supply statistics.
* SCM support to all mining operations, including an onsite presence at agreed times to maintain level of service required.
* Direct supervision and mentoring of Supply Officers.
* Actively promote safety.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years relevant supply chain experience, ideally within a leadership position in the mining industry.
* Advanced skills in Pronto highly regarded.
* Familiarity with specific products and requirements for plant processing operations.
* Strong computer literacy.
* Great attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* HR Driver's licence desirable.
