Overview
Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team and support the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality, inquiry-based educational curriculums for children attending our services. This is a not-for-profit role with a focus on positive, inclusive, and collaborative practice across six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools in the LGA.
Job type: 3 x Permanent Full-time positions, 38 hours per week, 5 days per week. Salary: $64,584.53 to $69,917.94 per year. 12% super. Location: Warwick Farm, Holsworthy & Hinchinbrook.
Position status: Eligible to apply is subject to a Working with Children Check; National Police Check and pre-employment medical may be required.
Responsibilities
* Support the Early Childhood Teacher and a dedicated team in designing, implementing and evaluating high-quality curriculums.
* Foster nurturing relationships to encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.
* Work in alignment with Early Childhood Regulations and contemporary theories/approaches to early childhood education and care.
Qualifications
* Diploma Trained in Early Childhood Education (Diploma of Children's Services).
* Child protection training approved and recognised by ACECQA.
* First aid certificate.
* Thorough knowledge of child development, relevant theories and Early Childhood Regulations.
