Role Overview
Truck Centre (WA) is currently seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanics to join our busy Spearwood workshop on a full‐time basis, working a condensed 4‐day week roster. The role involves providing a high quality of workmanship on Mack, UD and Volvo truck products to the standards expected of our brands. You will have full access to diagnostic information, product specialists, specialist tooling, and ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your skills continually develop as the product evolves.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high quality of workmanship on Mack, UD, and Volvo truck products.
* Diagnose and repair heavy vehicle road transport issues using available tooling.
* Communicate identified defects to the team and customers with confidence.
* Work autonomously, demonstrating self‐motivation and professionalism.
Qualifications
* Relevant Trade Certificate (essential)
* Current HR Licence (desirable)
* Experience in a heavy road transport service and repair environment
* Strong communication skills and confidence in communicating identified defects
* Self‐motivation and the ability to work autonomously
* Proven track record of quality workmanship
* Experience with Mack, UD and/or Volvo products is highly desirable
