Position Details
Work Hours: 6:30 AM to 3:36 PM, Monday to Friday (with an RDO every 5 weeks).
Location: White Rock Campus (some travel to Kewarra Beach Campus required).
Compensation: $67,185.65 annual salary + 12.75 % superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Creating vibrant outdoor spaces that promote a sense of calm, inspiration and community pride.
* Maintaining and improving the school's grounds, gardens and lawns to contribute to a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for students and staff.
* Contributing to ongoing grounds enhancements and the preparation and care of sporting facilities.
About You
* A skilled, experienced and enthusiastic gardener.
* Experienced in working in the outdoor environment.
* Knowledgeable in horticulture, pest management and plant care (or a strong interest to learn).
* Skilled in using horticultural machinery, hand and power tools.
* A team player who will contribute to any task.
* A strong communicator and collaborative team member.
Additional Requirements
* CERT III qualification in Horticulture preferred.
* National Register Screen (Anglican School's Commission).
* Blue Card or Suitability.
* HLTAID012 Certificate – Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting.
* HLTAID009 Certificate – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
