Department for Health and Wellbeing – Corporate and Infrastructure – Procurement Supply Chain & Management (PSCM) Salary: $1,106.10 to $1,117.60 – WSE3 – Full Time / Ongoing appointment Overview: The Store Person, Vaccine Warehouse Operations, is responsible for delivering efficient and prompt warehouse and distribution services at the SA Health Vaccine Distribution Centre. Maintaining supply chain activity within a cold storage environment. The key outcomes for this role are: Upholding and contributing to the Health, Safety and Welfare of themselves and others working at the SA Health Vaccine Distribution centre Efficient and effective handling of vaccine inventory across the receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch for the SA Health Vaccine Distribution Centre. Efficient receiving and dispatch operations that meet industry standards for the storage of vaccines and South Australian Health objectives, including: Ensuring accuracy in picking activities and the dispatch and delivery of vaccine orders to service providers. Maintenance of high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the SA Health Vaccine Distribution Centre. The incumbent: Must be prepared to be rotated into the ambient SA Health Distribution Centre as required. May be required to work out of business hours including on-call capacity after hours, weekends and public holidays. Will be required to conduct work within cold room temperatures. Will be required to operate various materials handling equipment such as forklift or reach-truck. The incumbent must hold a current license for this equipment or have the ability to acquire the necessary licenses. Must have a current South Australian motor vehicle driver’s license.
