Role summary
The Enrolled Nurse provides safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with clients, their families and other health professionals and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, and is supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, clinical educators and clinical nurse consultants and allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
About St Marys Community Health Centre
St Marys is in the Fingal Valley, Tasmania's North-East, approximately 90 minutes from Launceston and near the East Coast beaches. The centre offers emergency, sub-acute and palliative care and a range of community and outpatient services including community nursing, home help, adult day centre, physiotherapy, social work, child health, and access to the Tasmanian Lymphedema Centre. Medical services are provided with a co-located GP practice operated by Ochre Health.
The Role
The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, casual, shift worker (fully rotational) position working as required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. The selection process may be used for future similar vacancies for up to 12 months from publication.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Qualifications
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
