**How will I help?**
As a Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring (BCM) you will support the Risk Control and Transformation team in risk management, monitoring, and reporting practices. Reporting into the Executive manager, you will be responsible for managing risk reporting, identifying issues and incidents, as well as conducting quality reviews to ensure that divisional and business operations, as well as risk management practices, align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group. You will also support the implementation and adherence to the risk management framework, policies, and controls.
Other key accountabilities include:
- Providing input into the Quarterly Risk Committee for the Risk division, including key risk themes, emerging issues and progress towards remediation
- Facilitating and running regular reports, reviews, emerging risk issues, and capturing supporting metrics and thresholds
- Timely reporting of operational risk incidents and issues and communicating their ongoing resolution
- Ensuring ongoing Design and Operating Effectiveness assessment of controls by control owners
- Ensuring mature Operational Risk Management Frameworks across the Risk division
- Ensure data quality of Risk systems, frameworks, and controls
- Working with various stakeholders to ensure an accurate risk and control review of the impact of changes to processes, systems, and/or organisation
- Act as the point of contact in relation to risk controls and policies, and provide advice or input into business risks and issues
- Monitor effectiveness of self-assessment practices, highlight gaps and risks outside appetite and escalate as required
- Ensure quality of JUNO records and updates by monitoring and tracking actions against risk and control issues identifiedSupport the successful roll out of Group Operational Risk initiatives or tools across the Risk Division

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role, you must have previous Risk reporting experience ideally within the financial services industry. You must also have demonstratable experience in ensuring significant risks are properly identified and managed by an organisation. Ideally you will also have experience in data reporting tools such as PowerBi to extraction of reportable data.
Other key requirements include:
- Degree qualified with strong communications skills and demonstrable experience of influencing senior stakeholders
- Ability to identify and analyse control weakness/deficiencies in reviewing incidents/issues
- Ability to identify and recommend improvements in current operational risk and compliance frameworksAbility to plan and prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines
