TAFE WA North Metropolitan – East Perth WA
We are establishing a 12 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deliver high-quality training and assessment that equips students with the skills and confidence to thrive in the industry.
* Teach, mentor, and guide students in alignment with the relevant curriculum or training package requirements.
* Contribute to Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery, supporting the continuous improvement of our programs.
* Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices to provide up-to-date insights to the College and the broader industry.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge and professional practice.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum qualification: Certificate IV in Information Technology and at least 5 years of industry experience.
* Minimum VET credential to deliver accredited vocational education and training: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110), or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019, or TAESS00024).
* Applicants who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials may apply; the successful candidate must enrol and commence training in an approved credential and complete it within two years from commencement.
