Thiess is looking for an experienced Ancillary Equipment Fitter to join the maintenance crew at Peak Downs, a mining operation near Moranbah, Queensland.
About the role
The incumbent will support a new workforce focused on developing a strong performance culture, where every contribution is valued.
Responsibilities
* Maintain ancillary mobile plant equipment, including service trucks, tilt trays, EWPs, forklifts, generators, compressors and lighting plants, ensuring safety and efficiency in line with Thiess and industry standards.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, and perform preventative maintenance.
* Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
