Nest Newborn Clinic on the Gold Coast is seeking paediatricians and neonatologists to join our growing service.Rather than spending years building a private practice or joining a large group with limited referrals, Nest offers the rare opportunity of stepping into a ready-made role that is clinically stimulating, financially rewarding, and designed for family-friendly balance.Working alongside the founding neonatologist, you'll care for infants and children in brand-new consulting suites.
You'll inherit a steady stream of newborn families via our structured follow-up pathway and benefit from a strong, expanding obstetric referral base, an experienced practice team, and fully developed private practice infrastructure.Ready-made private practice: Brand-new bespoke consulting suites, modern IT, administrative staff, billing and marketing support.Built-in referral base: 400+ newborn families per year handed over at 4 and 6 months, plus scope to grow your own general paediatric caseload.Excellent remuneration: Consultant-level earnings ($300k+ pa) while working part-time (0.5 FTE), with strong potential to expand as your paediatric caseload grows.Lifestyle-friendly: Limited on call and inpatient work, protected clinic time, flexible scheduling, built in cover for leave.Modern setting: Gold Coast Private Hospital Level 4 SCN with advanced capabilities and experienced staff, adjacent to Gold Coast University Hospital NICU for tertiary support; scope for work at Pindara Private Hospital with inpatient paediatrics if desired.Academic links: Opportunities with Griffith and Bond Universities for teaching, quality improvement and research, if desired.Gold Coast lifestyle: 300+ days of sunshine, beaches, hinterland, excellent schools and family amenities.FRACP (General Paediatrics or Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine) or nearing completionAHPRA specialist registration (or eligibility).
