About the Position
We are seeking an experienced barista who is friendly, compassionate, and enjoys working with the elderly. The successful candidate will help deliver a high standard of coffee, food, and care service within our residential aged care home.

Responsibilities
* Set up and prepare for the day's trade
* Prepare hot beverages, with a focus on coffee excellence
* Check and replenish stock
* Take and prepare orders for customers
* Manage order preparation to minimise wait time
* Present all items with finesse and in line with Chef's instructions
* Clean, wipe down tables and clear dirty plates and trays
* Close down at end of day
* Interact politely with residents and accept their input
Laundry and Housekeeping Operations
* Provide cleaning services around common areas and resident rooms
* Use chemicals safely and effectively
* Participate in the established infection control program
* Interact with residents in a kind, caring, respectful manner regarding care preferences
* Provide laundry services per Shoreline's procedures for full‐scale commercial laundry

Shoreline is a luxury aged care facility on the Mid North Coast of NSW. The precinct offers a resort‐like atmosphere and high‐quality care for our aged residents.
About You
You possess a proven track record of compassion, kindness, and empathy with the elderly and diverse individuals. You understand the ageing process and advocate for older people in residential care. You are calm, composed, and optimistic under pressure, motivated to contribute to bettering residents' lives.
Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated empathy and commitment to the care of older people
* Experience delivering exceptional customer‐centre service outcomes
* Ability to demonstrate kindness and empathy across all channels
* Understanding of the ageing process and advocacy for older people
* Police check clearance
* Up‐to‐date vaccination as required by legislation or industry best practice
