About Us:
CL Macs Farm Services is part of a larger Macadamia Farming Group committed to sustainable farming practices and high-quality Macadamia Nut production. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Farm Supervisor to join our team and help manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day farm operations, including, harvesting, orchard floor management, Fertigation & irrigation, etc.
* Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
* Monitor crop health and communicate with the Area Manager and General Manager as required.
* Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
* Manage inventory of supplies, stock and materials
* Maintain accurate records of production, inputs, and maintenance
* Assist with planning and implementing seasonal farm activities and improvement projects
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends during peak periods (not excessive)
Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or senior farm role
* Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills
* Solid understanding of modern farming techniques and equipment
* Ability to work hands-on and lead by example
* Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in varying conditions
* Reliable vehicle with a clean and current drivers license
* Broad experience operating and maintaining modern farm machinery including tractors, sprayers, harvesters etc.
