Senior Financial Accountant Role

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring precise revenue recognition and compliance with AASB accounting standards, AFSL requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.
* Manage and coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are completed and reconciled.
* Drive continuous improvement in monthly reporting processes and systems, establishing best practice standards.
* Coordinate statutory accounts preparation for ASX and ASIC, and ensure compliance with AFSL requirements.
* Prepare tax return calculations and liaise with tax agents.
* Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
* Maintain and update financial systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Support statutory reporting, including half-year reviews and annual audits.
* Prepare and review financial statements, regulatory lodgements, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
* Partner with business units to deliver accurate reporting on improvement projects and fee revenue.
* Support automation and optimisation of financial processes using digital tools and analytics.
* Monitor legislative changes and ensure finance systems remain compliant.
