About the Role
This position offers a diverse and rewarding clinical caseload, supported by a Senior Clinician Speech Pathologist, with structured opportunities for professional growth and development.
This role is ideal for a dynamic Grade 2 Speech Pathologist, with experienced Grade 1 clinicians also strongly encouraged to apply.
You'll be part of a small, close-knit and supportive multidisciplinary team, where your ideas are genuinely valued and you'll have the opportunity to help shape and evolve our service delivery.
This is a Fulltime position however we are open to consider candidates that would be looking for Part time 0.8EFT role. The role is based in Hawthorn with the ability to travel to Richmond site.
Responsibilities
* Work within professional scope of practice and service capability to provide timely, evidence-based and acceptable clinical care to clients of the Speech Pathology service.
* Optimise client's physical and mental health and social wellbeing through promotion of multi-disciplinary care and linkage to relevant community services and programs.
* Engage with clients and carers to support self-management and goal directed care planning.
* Develop effective collaboration with both the multidisciplinary team and Speech Pathology teams to enhance clinical outcomes of clients.
* Meet key performance indicators as mutually agreed with manager and in line with Access Health & Community strategic plan.
* Understand funding and revenue streams relevant to providing Speech Pathology based services. Working with eligible clients including HACC, CHSP, NDIS and Aged Care Packages.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent) and membership with (or eligibility for) Speech Pathology Australia.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Speech Pathology role within a Community Health, Hospital or private practice environment.
* Demonstrated experience in the provision of Speech Pathology services within a community-based area of practice such as progressive neurological diagnosis, acquired neurological conditions, chronic disease or age-related conditions.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as a Speech Pathologist and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary service.
* Meets the key selection criteria as outlined in the Position Description.

* National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Evidence of the right to work in Australia and a valid Driver's Licence.
* First Aid and CPR.
Pay range and compensation package
Generous salary packaging opportunities (up to $15,990 per annum + $2,650 meals/entertainment expenses).
