Claims Consultant
We are seeking a skilled Claims Consultant to manage claims from lodgement through to completion in line with our process to ensure optimum customer outcomes under the policy coverage.
Job Description
Proactive end-to-end management of strata claims within designated authority limits with a focus on meeting Service Level Agreements and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with all relevant parties to provide regular updates on the progress of claims and leverage the expertise of Team Leader, Technical Specialists and other key stakeholders.
Respond to customer inquiries over the phone and via email.
Review expert reports and recommendations and apply the policy wording to determine policy coverage and response.
Conduct evaluations and basic investigatory tasks by gathering and documenting relevant information within our systems as required.
Communicate claim decision to brokers and customers in writing.
Provide assistance to team members and identify opportunities for process improvement to support team achievements and goals.
