We are partnering with a leading ASX listed organisation to appoint an Integration Solution Architect for a high-impact Defence program within a complex Enterprise Technology & Architecture environment. Location: Melbourne is preferred but willing to consider Sydney for the right candidate Hybrid: 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH Day Rate: $1,200 - 1,500 including super Contract: Initially 6 months with high likelihood of extension This is a pivotal position working closely with senior leadership and owning end-to-end solution architecture across secure, large-scale programs. You will sit at the center of architecture and delivery, ensuring solutions meet strict scope, security, and compliance requirements within a Defence clearance context. The Opportunity You will take ownership of end-to-end solution architecture across Azure landing zones, SAP S/4HANA, and integration platforms, governing delivery from design through to implementation. Working closely with ICT teams, SI partners, and business stakeholders, you will ensure solutions align to enterprise standards while meeting stringent security, quality, and contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and integration solutions across Azure Landing Zones, SAP S/4HANA and CPI integration with 3rd Party systems. Define architecture standards, artefacts, and security-aligned designs Govern Systems Integrator (SI) delivery to ensure compliance with approved designs Lead design authority across full lifecycle (discovery to hypercare) Drive integration architecture across APIs, middleware, and data flows Support audit, compliance, and defence-aligned documentation requirements About You Proven experience as a Solution Architect across Azure (including landing zones), SAP, and complex integration landscapes Deep expertise in Azure & SAP integration, including Entra ID, Secure Gateways, SAP CPI, APIs, middleware frameworks, and enterprise integration patterns Strong experience integrating with 3rd party platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, payment systems, Krisp POS, warehouse systems, and workforce/time tracking solutions Excellent capability in technical design documentation, architecture governance, and maintaining high-quality architecture artefacts Proven ability to govern SI partners and vendors, and drive delivery outcomes across multi-party environments Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business, ICT, and vendor groups Experience delivering within Defence or secure/classified environments (Base Clearance highly desirable) and Australian Citizenship mandatory Why Apply?
